You can download various forms of Cougaar from here.

• Cougaar12_4 a zip file containing the final build of Cougaar v12.4 created on 9/27/2007.
• cougaar-all-git-repos.tar.bz2 a tar.bz2 file containing the entire source tree of Cougaar as a group of GIT repositories.  Note: Large – 692MB
• trimCougaar.tar.bz2 a tar.bz2 file containing a subset of a full Cougaar install, updated demo applications, and Eclipse project configurations.  It contains only the files needed to create a distributed agent runtime infrastructure and not extra files used by Logistics Applications or Ultralog robustness and security extensions.  This is based upon the unreleased 12.6 ALPHA distribution and is not in a final state but is a good starting point for learning Cougaar.  Some of the ant build.xml files depend upon non-working URLs to the previous cougaar.org website — those parts of trimCougaar won’t work, but using Eclipse to run the demos works as of 2/2012 with Eclipse Indigo (3.7.1, on Mac OS X Lion, at least).
