Adaptivity, where to start from?

Hi all,

I order to continue my investigation and make some other tutorials 
(we'll have to speak about them if you want to include them in the next 
release), I would like to know how the adaptivity system works. More 
precisely, I would like to understand the different threat levels, how 
to define rules, the components in charge of this and maybe find some 
examples.

There are some explanations given in the security documentation, but 
isn't there some simple examples before I dive into the security overlay 
(which I have almost made work in v12.4)?
