Cougaar best practices

Hello people,

I am working in my first Cougaar proyect, and i have some question  
about the best practices in cougaar...

1 - How agent redundancy is achieved?
e.g I have a plugin that publishes a messages, and the message must  
be procesed by two agents. (the master and backup).

2- In which cases should be used "Blackboard Serice" and the "Message  
Transport Service".

3- Where i can found some document about the Cougaar best practices?
